Common Sense for Colorado Government
Reclaim Our Colorado brings together taxpayers, families, employers, and property owners who want public decisions made on the law and the facts.
WHO WE ARE
Coloradans who pay for
government and expect it to work
Reclaim Our Colorado is a statewide advocacy group for Coloradans who pay for government and expect it to work. We support business, good government, and property rights.
We ask elected officials to hold to those standards and to resist pressure from any group that tries to replace public process with intimidation.
WHY WE EXIST
Advocacy is a right.
Intimidation is not advocacy.
Public service depends on people willing to do it. Elected officials, government staff, and business owners should be able to do their work without harassment or threats.
The problem is documented. In the first quarter of 2026, a national survey of more than 460 local elected officials found the following.*
39%
reported harrassment
17%
reported threats
Organized activist groups, including the Colorado Springs chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America, are urging the Colorado Springs City Council to oppose a proposed data center and to adopt a moratorium on data centers.** Residents may make that case. They may not shut down public business to win it.
Delay has a cost as well. On September 17, 2026, the Colorado Springs City Council voted 7 to 2 to postpone a decision on that project until April 13, 2027.*** Hearings should be thorough. Decisions should arrive on a published schedule.

WHAT WE STAND FOR
Business, good government
and property rights
Business
Employers hire workers, pay taxes, and support the services families rely on. They need clear rules and timely decisions.
Good Government
Officials should follow adopted law, disclose conflicts, explain their decisions, and treat staff with respect.
Property Rights
The Colorado Constitution protects the right of acquiring, possessing, and protecting property.
“Private property shall not be taken or damaged, for public or private use, without just compensation.”
Colorado Constitution, Article II, Section 15
